One dozen considerations when working with men in substance abuse groups.

چکیده
Men can present unique challenges when they come voluntarily or involuntarily to substance abuse groups. Twelve considerations are offered for working with men that include understanding the context of masculinity, how men are socialized, the gender of the therapist, their relationships with their fathers and their children, their male friendships, and sexual issues. Clinical implications are included.
